Speed limit is 15 mph throughout the park and 5mph in the campground. RADAR ENFORCED. No parking on grass or road shoulder. Pets must be kept on a leash or crated and may not be left unattended in the park. Pets are not allowed inside any park buildings. All state fishing regulations apply; all persons 18or older must have valid Louisiana fishing license. No capture of alligators, turtles, frogs, reptiles or any type of animal allowed in the park. Dumping grey (soapy water) on park grounds is prohibited. Washing vehicles/campers of any kind is prohibited. Quite hours are from 9pm to 6am. Campers under 21 must be accompanied by an adult. All trash must be taken to the trash containers throughout the campgrounds. Campfires are permitted at each campsite using the fire rings. Firewood collection is limited to fallen, dead timber, no chainsaws allowed. The Bogue Chitto river is subject to flash flooding and has many dangers such as submerged or partially submerged sticks and logs, sudden depth changes, fast moving currents, and potentially dangerous wildlife such as venomous snakes. No lifeguard on site. Swim at your own risk. No fires are permitted on the beach. Tubing and kayak rental is seasonal (May- Sept). Helmets are required.
